20cm, beautiful, quite large, clear blue flowers trumpets in autumn, born in a terminal cluster on stems, which are densely covered with very unusual, linear leaves, appearing to be arranged in whorls. Rare in its habitat in nature (NW Caucasus). Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained, stony soil in full sun. IX-X.
